Wednesday we had our final meeting for the Philadelphia Mission Team. We covered all final logistical details for the trip as well as finished our pre-trip teaching on Peter, our Biblical character for the year.
Our final teaching was from Acts 10:34-48. We examined how Peter was able to get out of his own way in his conversation with Cornelius the centurion. He let the Holy Spirit work while he was sharing the Good News of Jesus to a group of gentiles for the first time in history. On Sunday the 7th we will all meet in the SM Worship room at 10AM. We will pack all of the vans at that time before we all go to the SM service that morning. Immediately after the service we will load up in the vans and drive up to Philadelphia.
Our partner organization in Philly, CSM, has just sent a parental consent form for a site that we will be serving at during our time there. If all families could print the form and bring to the church by Sunday the 7th it would be greatly appreciated. The form, along with the checklist for the meeting and the packing list are all below:

Finally, we are going to have a prayer night for the parents while your children are away on the trip. We will post the date and time once it is
finalized as well as send out a text to the parent list.
