In the student portion of the meeting, we had our first pre-trip training on the character that we are studying this summer, Gideon from Judges 6. We will be studying his story and encounters with God as preparation for our own experiences this summer!
Our next meeting will be the Mission Teams Night on Friday, May 31st from 4:30-11pm. This will serve as our second pre-trip meeting and will have the second Gideon teaching as well as a team building game that we hope will help unify the team as we prepare to head to West Virginia this July.
