Our second day in Nashville proved fruitful, as our serving groups opened the morning with daily devotions, before continuing to morning sites. We served again at Project Transformation, the Andrew Jackson Boys and Girls clubs, and the Giving Gardens, continuing our ministry to these communities.
In the afternoon, some of our serving groups helped at N.I.C.E., while the rest served at Project C.U.R.E., a non-profit dedicated to distributing medical supplies to impoverished communities around the globe. At Project C.U.R.E. we processed donations, sorting and classifying thousands of pieces of medical equipment.
In this evening's Porchtime, we shared some of our individual experiences with the groups, followed by a time of worship. Our talk focused on Ephesian's 3, in which we explored the importance of being rooted and grounded in Christ's love. We expanded upon this concept further, examining how Christ's love can be drawn upon as a source of strength in our weakness.
Our time in Nashville continues splendidly, and we look forward to seeing how Christ's love continues to manifest this week.
Reminder that tonight (Wednesday 7.10.19) at 7pm in the SM Worship Room at the Chapel we have our parent prayer meeting for our trip and the Nashville trip!
