After seven hours of driving and team bonding on our wonderful buses and vans, we made it safely to our home base of operation here at Recreation Experiences. We stay at an old school building that has been turned into a housing location for all the groups that come to work with Recreation Experiences. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the gym has been newly renovated and all of the floors in the guy's rooms have been re-done (the girls rooms were already nice last year). All of the students were so excited to finally get here and check out our surroundings and they were quick to find the basketball courts and soccer fields.
Lights out is at 11pm tonight and then we are off to our first day at the worksite tomorrow morning. Check back tomorrow night for a recap of our day tomorrow. Goodnight and thanks for all your prayers and support!
